Light Earthquake Occurs Near Lerna Just Before Midnight Monday Night

An earthquake occurred near Lerna in Coles County at 11:43pm Monday.

The US Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 3.3. There were no reports of injuries or damage. Those in Mattoon and Charleston may have felt the quake.
