SULLIVAN — Cumberland High School placed second in the boys meet and fourth in the girls meet at the Redskins Track Invitational Tuesday.
In the boys meet, Sullivan won with 157 points followed by Cumberland 90, Decatur St. Teresa 88, Arcola 60, Moweaqua Central A&M 53, Nokomis 30, Shelbyville 20, Macon Meridian 18 and Warrensburg-Latham 13.
Cumberland’s Reid Carlin placed first in the 100 in 11.26 seconds and was second in the 200 in 23.34.
Isaac Venatta won the shot put with a throw of 12.80 meters and finished second in the discus with a throw of 38.20 meters.
Riley Morgan finished second in the 800 in 2:07.36. Cameron Roedl was second in the 1600 in 4:43.11.
Logan Gerhardt took second in the 300 hurdles in 43.97. Kaleb Bierman took second in the high jump at 1.71 meters.
In the girls meet, Sullivan was the winner with 150 points followed by Warrensburg-Latham 127, Decatur St. Teresa 64, Cumberland 52, Arcola 40, Moweaqua Central A&M 38, Nokomis 26 and Macon Meridian 11.
Cumberland’s Brielle Aaron won the 100 in 13.55 seconds.
Hannah Shoemaker was a winner in the 100 hurdles in 17.12 and finished third in the 300 hurdles in 52.73.
Amy Chirasant won the pole vault at 1.68 meters.
Layla Holsapple took third in the high jump at 1.47 meters.
