Free Youth Bird Hunt
Dan Hecht is having a Youth Bird Hunt on Saturday November 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The location is the DNP Farm near Iola, about 20 minutes south of Effingham.
The hunt is free of charge, and is for anyone ages 10-16 wanting to experience Quail and Pheasant Hunting,
There will be Clay Pigeons for warm up, practice, and instruction. There will be fields for First Timers, as well as fields for the Experienced.
A gun will be raffled off.
To help conservation efforts, memberships for Quail Forever will be available.
Be sure to get a Regular Hunting License or an Apprentice Hunting License. A gun-safety course would be beneficial for Safety.
