Newton came on strong in the second half, outscoring Robinson 42-7 and claimed a 56-14 high school football victory Friday evening.
The Eagles finished with a total of 523 yards offensively. Maddox Horner had 212 yards and scored three touchdowns while Quincy Fulton had 42 yards and scored a touchdown and William Michael 39 yards and a touchdown. Henry Will finished with 14 points.
Fulton pulled in four receptions for 70 yards while Eli Wolff had four for 45 and Horner one for 37.
Ian Kessler had four solo tackles and one assist, Harrison Kinkade had three receptions and two assists. Hayden Burnell had three solo tackles and two assists. Maddox Horner and Henry Will had two solos and two assists each. Marco Myburgh had two solos and one assist while Mac Huber and Gavin Leachman had two solos each.
