Bids have been opened on two local transportation improvement projects, including reconstruction of a portion of East Evergreen Avenue.
This latest phase will stretch from Oceola Street to Sherwood Park. The lowest bid was $1,140,869.81, submitted by Effingham Asphalt.
The other project involves a parking lot for City Hall along 2nd Street. Feutz Contractors of Paris submitted the low bid at $254,324.10.
The City Council will consider awarding the bids at their next meeting.
