The Effingham Junior High School cross country team traveled to Granite City Monday.
“It’s our for our favorite met of the year and what a great meet it was,” said Coach Nancy Ervin. “The kids were super focused, knew their goals for the day, and came ready to compete. The majority of them reached their goals, and some absolutely crushed them! So proud of this team and all the hard work they continue to put in.
PRs for the Meet:
“A big congratulations to all of our runners who earned personal records,” said Ervin. “There were 22 PRs yesterday.
“Big congratulations to C. Jolly. for earning an individual medal with an incredible 28th-place finish. He ran a great race, and we are so proud of him.
