Altamont travelled to Teutopolis for a scheduled doubleheader. When the Cardinal Classic was postponed Saturday due to heat it was decided the the first game would serve as the title tilt. Teutopolis picked up the 6-0 win. The also won the second game 11-1. Teutopolis improves to 13-2 on the fall. Altamont drops to 6-9.

The EIC/MTC tournament concluded at Greenville University Thursday.
Odin/Patoka/Sandoval won the championship over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 4-2. In the third place game Brownstown/St. Elmo picked up a 9-5 victory over Woodlawn.
