Altamont shut out St. Anthony 9-0 in high school soccer action Tuesday.
Ashton Buchanan gave Altamont a 1-0 halftime lead, then a halftime chat led to eight more goals after intermission. Altamont posted a 26-2 shots on goal advantage. Altamont is now 9-2 and next heads to Robinson on Thursday.
Buchanan finished with three goals, Calvin Bannister scored on an assist from Aiden Morales, then Morales found Bannister for another goal, and Buchanan found Bannister for his third goal. Hayden Bridges then found the ball after coming off the foot of the Bulldog goalkeeper to make it 7-0, Mason Suey found Chase Pals for a goal to make the score 8-0, and Suey found Bridges for the final goal of the night.
Altamont won the JV match 5-0.
