Teutopolis High School celebrated Senior Night in boys golf competition Tuesday with a victory over Olney by a 152-167 count.
Isaac Weber led the way for the Wooden Shoes with a 34. Also scoring were Mathew Habing 38, Kade Pennington 39 and Lane Ohnesorge 41.
Other Shoes competing were Owen Kremer 43, Eli Weber 44, Jack Weber 45, Ben Sandschafer 46, Gavin Althoff 47, Karson Zerrusen 52 and Blake Vahling 63.
The Shoes seniors honored were Isaac Weber, Mathew Habing, Owen Kremer, Lane Ohnesorge, Ben Sandschafer, Gavin Althoff, Karson Zerrusen and Blake Vahling.
At Oblong
Altamont claimed a 170-177 victory over Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville in boys action while the girls finished second.
Match medalist for the boys was Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville’s Zackary Riggs with a 37. Runner-up was Altamont’s Mason Schaub with a 41.
Also scoring for the Indians were Harrison Lash 41, Henry Niermann 43 and Evan Elam 44. Non-counters were Hunter Grobengieser 44, Cooper McManaway 45 and Chase Pals 46.
In girls action, Olney’s Mallory Richardson was medalist with a 48 while the Tigers’ Katelyn Bookhoust was runner-up with a 50.
Competing for Altamont were Cecilia Pearcy 55, Kenzie Zumwalt 55, Jocelyn Pearcy 57, Meghan Goeckner 63 and Luella Hartleroad 71.
