Lloyd Harris, 75, of Greenup, IL passed away at 5:10 am on Monday September 7, 2026, at Cumberland Rehab and Nursing in Greenup.
A Celebration of Lloyd will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday September 16, 2026, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup. Burial will be in Janesville Cemetery with Military Rites by the Cumberland County Veterans at a later date.
Lloyd was born on December 7, 1950, in Mattoon, IL to Chester Raymond and Reba (Southard) Harris. He is survived by his brothers Alvin (Connie) Harris and Danny (Sherry) Harris; sisters Linda Bueker, Mary Black, and Sharon Soltwedel; many nieces and nephews who loved their uncle very much; and special additional family Abia and Zyleigh Rashid.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Russell Harris and sister Doris Ormand.
Lloyd served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1970 – 1971. He was a member of the Toledo American Legion Post #764 and the VFW Post #4598 in Greenup. Lloyd was also a member of the Forty & Eight and assisted with many Military Services over the years.
