Still no resolution to the request for a special use permit for a solar field near Dutch Lane.
The public hearing that began in August resumed Wednesday night and more testimony was received, but there is more to come. Last night’s session ran past 10pm.
More rebuttal testimony is still due. Once that is concluded, the public hearing will be closed. That will be followed by discussion and a recommendation by the Plan Commission to the Effingham City Council. All of that is scheduled for the Plan Commission’s October 13th meeting.
