 T-Town Took Both Ends Of The Game Against Altamont In Monday’s Doubleheader

Teutopolis hosted Altamont Indians in JV Baseball on Monday for a double-header to win 10-0 and 2-8 over the Indians.

Game one the Shoes coming in with four runs in the first inning.

Altamont made it tough when they hit two runs in the first inning and came back with six runs in the second inning. Then in the third inning T-town came back and topped out with six runs taking the Shoes to finish out the five inning game win.

Hoene on the mound for the Shoes for three innings, pitching seven strikeouts and one walk.

Neu pitching for the Indians, with four strikeouts and two walks.

Even though Altamont had eight runs, the bats went cold after the third inning.

Game 2

T-town busted the game open early with five runs in the first inning.

The Shoes added another run in the third and fourth.

Pitching on the mound was Niebrugge with a single.
Thompson also had three singles.

Frederking pitching on the hill for the Indians with seven strikeouts and five walks gave the Shoes the advantage to win the game.
Arnold and Meyer brought in two runs for the Indians in the fifth to end the game.
