Jasper County edged Teutopolis in junior high softball action Wednesday.

T-town held a 1-0 lead in the fifth inning but Jasper County tied in the sixth and won the game in the seventh.

T-town was led by J. Schmidt with two singles and S. Grunloh with a double.

At Flora

South Central moved into a 3-0 opening inning lead and tallied a 15-2 win over Flora in six innings Tuesday.

South Central had five hits and Flora finished with four errors. Skylar Webster had a double and an RBI while Lexy Garrett added two singles and an RBI. Ellie Williams and Raelyn Parker had a single and an RBI each.

Webster was the winning pitcher, going all six innings, giving up two runs on two hits, striking out 12 and walking five.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg handed Dieterich a 16-5 loss behind a 12-hit attack Tuesday.

The Hatchets moved ahead 3-1 in the opening inning but Dieterich came back with three in the second to lead 4-3. Jasper County tied in the third then took the lead with five runs in the fifth and never looked back.

Shofer led the winners with two singles, two triples and four RBI while Althoff added a single, double and two RBI, Kaufman two singles and three RBI and Barnard two singles and an RBI.

Spannagel led the winners on the mound. She went all seven innings, giving up five runs on nine hits, walking three and striking out three.

Dieterich was led by K. Mellendorf with a double, triple and an RBI, A. Icenogle with three singles, A. Koester with two singles and an RBI and K. Douthit with a single and an RBI.
