 Junior High Girls Softball Results — August 22

Teutopolis Wooden Shoes played in a Round Robin this past Saturday in junior high girls softball.

The Wooden Shoes won three out of four games they played in the Tournament.

Ruholl took to the mound with a no-hitter against the Taylorville Tornados 9-0. She went seven innings and struck out 11 and walked none.

Teutopolis was led by Grunloh with a triple, and Ruholl hitting a double in the game.

Teutopolis took a shut out game with the Redskins 17-0.

Ruholl pitched four innings and struck out four with no walks. Wells pitched an inning and struck out one with no walks.

Wells had two singles and a double with three RBI. Ruholl hit a triple and RBI. Hoene and Will had two singles and two RBI each.

At Casey-Westfield

South Central ripped out to a 12-0 lead in just three innings, shutting out the game with Richland County by a 12-0 count. in the Casey-Westfield Tournament.

Simmons went all three innings on the mound for South Central. She struck out two and walked none.

Gile had a triple in the first inning, while Mette came in hot with a double and 2 RBI.

South Central went on to win 19-1 against Richland County.

The Falcons with a win 5-0 on Saturday’s Tournament.

South Central jumped ahead in the first inning taking the lead with a hit and added three more in the second.

Webster came on strong on the mound, pitching six innings, striking out seven and not giving up a walk.

Skibinski hit a triple while Gile had a double and two RBI.

At Casey-Westfield

At Paris

St. Anthony took a fall to Paris Crestwood Saturday in junior high softball. The Bullpups started out with no runs in the first and Crestwood got on the board with two runs.

Pitching on the mound was Fearday with three strikeouts and no walks.

Wagner took the mound for an inning with two strikeouts and no walks also. Crestwood took the win with a 15-5 victory.
