Rotary District Governor Deb West made her official visit to the Effingham Noon Rotary Club on August 19.
West serves as District Governor for Rotary clubs in a large part of East Central Illinois. Her DG year got off to a rough start when she was felled by a stroke, but has bounced back and is poised to serve her term. She encouraged the club and its members to invite others to join Rotary, to work on projects locally and globally, and to practice the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”.
Governor Deb was joined by her successor, Bill Milone, who will serve in 2027-2028.
