A small fire was quickly contained at Crisis Nursery of Effingham County on Thursday.
A staff member noticed smoke and had the building evacuated as Emergency Services were contacted. Effingham Firefighters and Police quickly responded, brought the fire under control, and business was back to normal within an hour.
There were no injuries and no damage to the building.
Crisis Nursery thanked their staff who followed emergency procedures, and all responding emergency agencies for their quick action.
