Russell W. Sandner, 79, of Altamont died at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at his home.
According to Russell’s wishes, there will be no services. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Russell Wayne Sandner was born on Sunday, December 22, 1946 in Sacramento, CA to Herman and Zella (Carter) Sandner. He married Sharen Krampe on February 17, 1995. He was an over the road truck driver for 50 years.
In addition to his wife of over 31 years, he is survived by; his sons, Ricky (Alexis) Sandner, WI, Michael (Sunshine) Sandner, Placerville, CA, Trey Cramer, Kansas, Cody (Trish Rose) Krampe, Wisconsin and Jonathan (Hanna) Sandner-Wolff, Des Moines, IA; daughter, Veronica Chacon, Fremont, CA; grandchildren, Ryan Sandner, Jessica Archuletta and Macy; great grandchildren, Konnor Ustinowich, Kevin Ustinowich, Reid Sandner and Quinn Sandner.
He was preceded in death by; his parents and brothers, Ronnie and Richard Sandner.
