Dieterich school board members Monday adopted a procedure of evaluating coaches at the conclusion of their seasons and approved rehiring coaches three times per year…fall, winter and spring.
The Board accepted resignations from Gabe Jackson as full time custodian and Brett Harmeier as assistant high school baseball coach, and approved Jackson Icenogle as a volunteer assistant coach for high school baseball. Board members also hired Mike Kuhring and Amanda Cooper as full time custodians, hired Nicole Lustig as special education department head, and Carrie Bloemer as technology manager.
Elementary Principal Josh Benefiel and Junior-Senior Dean of Students Ryan Wohltman updated the Board on registration and enrollment figures for the upcoming school year. The current enrollment for the coming school year is 643, up 13 students from this point last year. Board members also learned that the roof/solar/tuckpointing project is complete.
