 Unit #40 Board Acts on Personnel Moves

The Effingham Unit #40 Board of Education acted on a number of personnel moves at Monday night’s meeting. Here are the moves:

EMPLOYMENT:
Whitney Draear Parapro at ELC for the 2026-27 School Year
Amanda Schaufler Instructor at LHECC
Marni Drury-Egan Parapro at EHS for the 2026-27 School Year
Tony Munoz HS Assistant Soccer Coach for the 2026-27 School Year
Emilia Munoz ESL Parapro at SS & CGS for the 2026-27 School Year
Amanda Bloemker Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-27 School Year

The Board also heard that the district had close to $17 million in operating funds. There was a increase in revenues and expenses. A tentative budget was reviewed for the coming fiscal year, with final action on the measure coming later this year.

Board members also named Jane Willenborg the district’s Illinois Association of School Boards representative for the coming year.
