The reconstruction of Merchant Street in Effingham will begin on Tuesday, August 4.
The work will begin at 7am. The project will be completed this fall.
Merchant Street will be closed from Flamingo Avenue to Evergreen Avenue. There will be a marked detour, and there will be access to all facilities.
