Effingham Noon Rotarians learned about plans for this year’s Effingham County Fair, celebrated perfect attendance, and learned more about AI over the past two weeks.
Effingham County Fair Board President Phil Hartke spoke at the Noon Club’s July 29th meeting, including plans to observe the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Freedom 250 exhibit is one of just six in the nation and will be making its only stop in the state of Illinois at the fair. Rotarian Ben Meinhart was the guest speaker at the Noon Club’s July 22nd meeting. Meinhart answered questions about AI and its potential impact on business. Noon Rotary Past President Norma Lansing served as program chairman and chaired the meeting. (LEFT TO RIGHT: NORMA LANSING AND BEN MEINHART)
Lansing was also one of four people from the Noon Club to be recognized for one year or more of perfect attendance. Also recognized were (LEFT TO RIGHT) Mike Varady, Norma Lansing, Tonya Siner and Dave Ring.
