The City of Effingham Public Works Department will be picking up storm debris starting Monday, August 3rd.
Pick up is city-wide, however, focus is on areas south of Fayette that have the most damage.
Please note: Only tree and brush debris will be picked up that was caused from the Storm. No plastic or any other material is allowed. Crews will not enter private property for pickups. Brush must be piled at the curb or side of the road. Nothing over 12” in diameter will be accepted.
Please allow at least a week for this operation to be completed.
