The Lake Land Board of Trustees have requested funding for remodeling work in classroom buildings on campus.
The funds are sought from the Illinois Community College Board. Approval is being sought for work on the Northwest, Northeast, and West Classroom Buildings, as well as remodeling of the library.
$15.4 million is sought for the Northwest Building, $15.7 million for the Northeast Building, $21 million for the West Building, and $16.8 million for the library remodeling.
Also at this month’s meeting, the Lake Land Board awarded a bid for printing of the Alumni magazine and a Fall College magazine. 3Z Printing of Teutopolis was awarded the bid for $30,792, while Nutrien of Neoga was awarded the bid for fertilizer for the college farm for $25,215.
