Brownstown school board members have set rates of pay for substitutes, athletic fees, and lunch prices for the coming school year.
The Board approved work by Fulk Construction for additional updates needed at Brownstown Elementary School, as well as a bus maintenance contract with Ron Zimmer; a resolution of intent to issue health/life safety bonds; and employee and student and coaches handbooks.
Brownstown board members accepted the resignation of Cloe Grames as high school Ag teacher, and hired Cassie Temmen to succeed Grames and Tiffany Gierten as high school special education teacher.
A public hearing on the tentative budget for the new fiscal year was scheduled for September 21. The tentative budget will be on display beginning August 21.
