Bob was born on January 30, 1933, in Windsor, the son of Edward and Daisy (Richards) Caspary. He was raised in the community he would always call home and graduated from Windsor High School with the class of 1951. Following high school, he served his country in the United States Air Force.
On October 17, 1951, Bob married Marilyn Joyce “Joy” Hennigh, and together they shared nearly 75 years of marriage. He was the kind of person who could be counted on, and his quiet strength left a lasting impression on many.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed dancing, square dancing, tennis, fishing, and wintering in Florida. He appreciated simple pleasures and the company of others. Whether he was on the dance floor, outdoors with a fishing pole, or spending time with family and friends, Bob embraced life with warmth and a good spirit.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Joy of Windsor; three daughters, Rebecca (Mark) Curry of Windsor, Karen (Mark) Conlon of Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Debra (Grant) Rinehart of Morris; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jim (Jan) Caspary of Loda. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Kay Reed, and his brother, Bert Caspary.
Bob will be remembered for his loyalty and dedication, first and foremost to his family, to his community and his unwavering work ethic. He lived a full and honorable life rooted in family, faith, service, and love for home. His legacy will continue through the family he treasured and the many lives he touched along the way.
