PETERSBURG — Matthew Avenatti claimed three victories while Jamaica Patton, Issac Love, Connor Prather and Wyatt Avenatti were winners in two harness races at the Menard County Fair Thursday.
M. Avenatti opened with a victory in Race Three, the ISA 2-Year-Old Colt Pace. Avenatti guided Cowboy Carter to the win in 2:04 4/5.
Avenatti’s second win came in the ISA 3-Year-Old Filly Pace, First Division. Fox Valley Reba claimed the victory in 2:00 3/5.
His third victory in the sulky came in the final race of the day, the 2 & 3-Year-Old Open Pace Race. Avenatti guided Fox Valley Endzone to victory in 1:58 1/5.
Jamica Patton, Issac Love, Connor Prather and Wyatt Avenatti were two-time winners on the day.
Patton also trained two of his winners, Dee’s Lucky Star and Samantha Lou while Tanner Saltsgiver trained Fox Valley Reba and Fox Valley Endzone who picked up wins.
