Legendary Effingham High School boys basketball coach Jim Maxedon is turning 90 years old, and a celebration is scheduled for this Saturday.
The celebration is planned from 1 to 4pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mattoon. The street address is 100 Coles Centre Parkway.
