The 2026 Relay for Life of Effingham County is set for Friday night. This year’s theme is “Bases Loaded With Survivors, Caregivers, and Hope.”
Activities will begin at 5pm at Teutopolis Community Park with fundraising tents and food trucks opening. The Opening Ceremony will begin at 5:30pm.
The Survivor Ceremony and Survivor Lap will begin at 6pm. Three Chicks & A Stage will perform “Who’s on First?”
A Garden of Hope Ceremony will start at 7:30pm. The Closing Ceremony will begin at 8pm.
A reminder that pinwheels in memory or in honor of someone are available for purchase right now at the studios of Premier Broadcasting at Fayette and Willow weekdays until the Relay event, with all proceeds benefitting the battle against Cancer. Pinwheels are $10 each.
