Effingham County officials will hold a press briefing Wednesday at 1pm to update the public on the severe weather/tornado situation and recovery efforts in the county.
The briefing will update the status of the Emergency Declaration in Effingham County, provide an update on the tornado damage and restoration and recovery efforts in the county, and provide details on the planned Multi-Agency Resource Center for Effingham County citizens affected by the tornado and other severe weather.
The briefing will take place in the Benson Wood Conference Room on the first floor of the Effingham County Office Building.
