Effingham Unit #40 school board members took action on several items following closed session Monday night, in addition to regular personnel moves.
The Board approved the contract for Supervisor of Safety and Security Anthony West for the coming school year, and approved contracts with the district’s seven school security officers. They also dismissed an educational support personnel employee who was an exempt staff member.
The Board also approved hourly increases for exempt staff, that being those not covered by unions. The increases were performance-based, and ranged from 1 to 6%.
