The City of Effingham Street Dept will be oiling roadways throughout town Tuesday 6/23, Wednesday 6/24, and Thursday 6/25, weather permitting. Please be mindful of oiling crews and use alternate routes when possible.
Also, storm sewer work will begin Monday, June 22nd at 7AM through Friday, June 26th at 5PM. Here’s the schedule: Monday- S Walnut St will be closed from W Jefferson Ave to W Shelby Ave;
Tuesday-Friday- The intersection of W Jefferson Ave and S Walnut St will be closed.
