Timothy G. Fuesting, 69, of Teutopolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Entombment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Services are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to The White Lily Project, PO Box 243, Teutopolis, IL or donor’s choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com.
Tim was born on January 23, 1957 to Gerald and Eleanor (Hoene) Fuesting. He married the love of his life, Karen Jansen on June 30, 1984. He was a lifetime member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a Knights of Columbus member. Tim was devoted to his family and most proud of his grandkids. You could find him in his workshop, golfing with his buddies, hunting deer, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Lately, he spent his time at various sporting events cheering on his grandchildren.
Tim leaves behind his loving wife, Karen; son, Brian (Heather) of Teutopolis; daughters, Angela (Derek) Brumleve of Teutopolis, Sarah (Trevor) Lucht of Mt. Zion; grandkids Olivia, Kenzie, Hadley, Caleb, Oliver, Eli, Caroline, Bree, and Noah; brothers, Mike and Dave; mother-in-law, Mardell Jansen; in-laws, Gary Heuerman, Marlene (Steve) Hille, Joyce (Mark) Hoene, Linda Harrington, Mark (Tammie) Jansen, Richard (Vanessa) Jansen, and Wayne (Tina) Jansen.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alan; sister, Jane Heuerman; father-in-law, Anthony Jansen; in-law, Mark Harrington; grandchildren, Henry Lucht and Laila Brumleve; and nephew, Dustin Borries.
