Effingham High School’s Trap and Skeet team participated in the Illinois State High School Clay Target League state tournaments Friday and Sunday.
EHS State Skeet winners from Friday at the Decatur Gun Club included:
Abby Feldhake — Third place Junior Varsity Female
Taylor Feldhake — Second place Novice Female
Callan Bowman — Third place Novice Male
EHS State Trap winners from Sunday at Brittany Shooting Park included:
Second Place Novice Male — Henry Haarman
Second Place JV Female — Whitney Stefanski
Novice Team: First Place — Members were Henry Haarman, Grady Myers, Brantly Ingram, Colby Field and Auggie Schultz.
Junior Varsity Team: Second Place — Members were Whitney Stefanski, Sam Waymoth, Maddox Hurley, Jake Althoff and Logan Schoenhoff.
Varsity Team: Third Place — Members were William Hecht, Hayden Wendling, Nolan Fearday, Kaden Field and Mike Fearday.
