An Altamont man has been sentenced to prison in the settlement of a drug case.
56-year-old Joseph A. Morris pleaded guilty Thursday to delivery of 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine. Morris was arrested in November of 2024.
Judge Amanda Ade-Harlow sentenced Morris to 10 years in prison. Morris was given credit for 556 days served while awaiting disposition of the case. Once out of prison he will serve 18 months mandatory supervised release.
