An Effingham man has been sentenced to prison time after pleading guilty in a Fayette County drug case.
33-year-old Blake A. Pilcher pleaded guilty Wednesday to unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Pilcher had been arrested in August of 2024.
Judge Allan Lolie sentenced Pilcher to nine years in prison as part of a negotiated plea. Five other felony counts were dismissed as part of the plea.
