Terry D. Hays, 48, of Greenup, IL passed away at 9:37 am Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at his residence.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family.
Terry was born in Mattoon, IL on December 26, 1977. He was raised by Benny and Joyce (Harrington) Hays.
Survivors include Benny Hays; brothers Wes (Brittany) Hays, and Jerry (Alisha) Kirkman; sisters Tammy (Everett) Cooper, and Leanna Kirkman.
He was preceded in death by Granny Joyce Hays.
Terry had worked as cook at several places and most recently at Chances R in Greenup. Terry loved fishing and relaxing with friends.
