Bass fishing teams competed in regional action last week and those advancing are taking part in sectional action today, May 21.
Teutopolis No. 1 won the Regional at Newton Lake with 16.11 pounds followed by Effingham St. Anthony No. 1 15.09, Palestine No. 2 15.04, Palestine No. 1 14.98, North Clay No. 2 14.43, Newton No. 1 14.00, Effingham No. 1 13.89, Dieterich No. 1 13.58, North Clay No. 1 13.23, Newton No. 2 13.12, Dieterich No. 2 13.01, Effingham St. Anthony No. 2 12.13, Teutopolis No. 2 11.29, Oblong No. 2 11.20, Olney, Richland County No. 2 10.95, Olney, Richland County No. 1 10.38, Oblong No. 1 9.93 and Effingham No. 2 6.20.

Neoga and Windsor competed at the Regional at Lake Mattoon. Winning was Shelbyville with 8.92 followed by Neoga No. 2 8.59, Windsor No. 1 8.34, Bethany Okaw Valley No. 1 7.59, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond No. 1 6.95, Sullivan No. 1 6.77, Windsor No. 2 4.83, Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond No. 2 2.57, Neoga No. 1 2.40, Shelbyville No. 2 2.32. Bethany Okaw Valley No. 2 and Sullivan No. 2 had no weight.
