Brownstown school board members acted on several items for the coming year at this week’s meeting.
The Board renewed its Child Nutrition, Illinois Free Lunch and Breakfast, and Food Distribution programs; acted on its contract with Embrace DS; renewed membership in the IASA, AIRSS, and IASB; contracted with Stacy Gibson for speech services; and accepted a milk bid from Prairie Farms.
Board members approved registration fees for the coming year…$95 for elementary students, $120 for junior high and high school students, $50 for driver’s ed students, $10 for Ag Mechanics, and $7 for Ag I and Ag II.
The Board also hired Bailey Holman to teach 2nd grade, and Johanna Howell as elementary school evening custodian.
