SHELBYVILLE — Shelbyville High School won its own Class 1A Girls Track Sectional Wednesday.
The Rams scored 122 points followed by Sullivan 118.5, Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond (ALAH) 84, Marshall (M) 72, Villa Grove (VG) 56, Tuscola (TU) 39, Cerro Gordo-Bement (CGB) 39, Moweaqua Central A&M (CAM) 35, Bethany Okaw Valley (BOV) 30, Pana (P) 23, Nokomis (N) 17.5, Hume Shiloh (HS) 17, Arcola (AR) 14, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (WSS) 13, Macon Meridian (MM) 6, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (CHBC) 5 and Neoga (NE) 2.
First and second place finishers advance to State along with any meeting State qualifying standards. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg’s Mya Friese finished second in the 800 with a time of 2:29.17 minutes to advance to State.
