Harold Wayne Kibler age 80, of Newton passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, Illinois.
Cremation rites will be accorded to Mr. Kibler, with no formal services being planned.
Harold was born on April 29, 1946, in Effingham, Illinois the son of Guy and Edna (Finn) Kibler. Harold graduated from Newton High School. On February 2, 1964, Harold married Thelma Rose Walker. They shared fifty-seven years together before Thelma’s passing on July 1, 2021. Harold worked for Norris Electric Cooperative in Newton, where he was a lineman and later served as a forestry supervisor. He retired after forty-two years of service. In his free time, Harold enjoyed working in the yard, repairing small engines and going fishing.
Harold will be loved and remembered by his sons, Wayne Kibler and Martin Kibler both of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Mark Kibler and Josh Kibler both of Albuquerque, NM, Daniel Kibler of Shelburn, IN and Jacklyn Kibler of New Lebanon, IN; and great grandchildren Audury Pearison, Riot Pearison and Ellie Kibler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Thelma.
