HSHS Medical Group welcomes Mackenzie Buzzard, MSN, FNP-C, to HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine-Dieterich and HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine-Altamont, located at 207 S. Main St., Dieterich, and 3 Do-It Drive, Altamont. Buzzard provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care, wellness visits and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Buzzard earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She delivers care across the lifespan, from infants to older adults, with a focus on continuity and practical treatment plans.
Buzzard emphasizes listening, building trust and partnering with patients to make informed decisions about their health. Her approach prioritizes clear communication and individualized care that reflects each patient’s needs and goals.
