A Hidalgo woman was fatally injured in a crash involving a pickup truck and a dump truck Friday afternoon. The second driver involved was also injured.
86-year-old Sharon Kay Reisner was killed when her vehicle collided with the semi on Illinois Route 130 at East Harrison Street at Hidalgo. The crash happened at 1:23pm Friday.
To correct earlier information, the driver of the other vehicle was injured and was taken for treatment. That second driver has been identified by Illinois State Police as James Garrett of Edgewood. Garrett suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment.
