South Central school board members this week increased the number of credit hours needed to graduate from 23 to 24.
The Board also approved four additional dual credit classes for the coming school year.
The Board heard that the high school gym in Farina will be painted this summer and the basketball court resurfaced. Work is underway on replacing part of the middle school roof.
In personnel moves, the South Central board hired Dusk Donaho as middle school English teacher, Brock Adams as 5th and 6th grade basketball coach, and JJ Wright as volunteer unpaid girls assistant basketball coach.
