David Patrick Robert, age 71, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 7:11 PM on Sunday evening, April 12, 2026, south of Greenup, Illinois.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. Funeral services celebrating David’s life will follow, with Tom Matson officiating. Military rites by the Jasper Post #20 American Legion will be held following the service.
