A Newton man was killed when his motorcycle struck a deer.
71-year-old David Robert was fatally injured when the cycle struck the deer on Illinois Route 130 at the Jasper/Cumberland County line. The crash happened about 6:45pm Sunday.
Cumberland County authorities are handling the investigation of the incident.
