10-Year Term for Vandalia Man for Child Pornography

Vandalia resident David Downs has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for child pornography.

The 35-year-old Downs pleaded guilty Wednesday. He had been arrested in July of 2024.

Other counts were dismissed as part of the negotiated plea agreed to by Judge Allan Lolie.
