Stew-Stras Board Members Moves Toward End of School Year

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members rejoined the IHSA and the IESA for the coming school year, approved their parent and family engagement policy, and renewed the Southeast Purchasing Cooperative agreement.

The Board approved intergovernmental cooperative sports agreements with the Windsor school district at both the junior high and high school levels, and approved Dimond Brothers for commercial insurance. Members got an update on the roofing project and approved next year’s school calendar.

In personnel matters, Stew-Stras board members accepted the resignation of Shelby Dyer at the end of the school year, hired Garrett Wright as junior high track coach, hired Torrie Antrim as assistant junior high track coach, and accepted the resignation of Andria Verdeyen at the end of this school year.
