Corine Howard, 98, of Greenup, IL passed away at 9:49 am on Tuesday March 24, 2026, at her residence.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday March 26, 2026, in the Aten Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
Corine was born on June 23, 1927, to Lester and Lenora (Nichols) Ramey, in Wisconsin. She married Russell “Leo” Howard on October 12, 1946. He preceded her in 1994.
Survivors include son Alan (Debra) Howard; daughter Marsha Foley; grandchildren Todd Foley, Damon Foley, Kelli Foley, Myra Howard, and Heather Howard; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and special friend/caregiver Averie Bosler.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Corine was a homemaker. She also worked at CCAR Industries in Charleston. Corine was a member of the Greenup United Methodist Church and the Rosehill Household Science Club.
