The Effingham County Fair Board is excited to reveal the 2026 Grandstand Entertainment schedule, featuring a dynamic mix of events: Pro Pulling League action, a talent show, ITPA pull, queen pageant, rodeo, demolition derby, and live music.
Headlining Friday night’s concert is the legendary Jo Dee Messina. With nine No. 1 hits, sixteen Top 40 tracks, and over five million albums sold globally, Jo Dee’s star power is undeniable. She’s earned top honors from the ACMs, CMAs, and Grammys, promising a show packed with chart-topping music and electrifying energy.
Kicking off the show is rising country artist Cole Goodwin. At just 24, Cole has made a name for himself with his powerful voice, heartfelt songwriting, and classic country style. Since debuting his self-produced EP Soon Enough in 2023, he’s shared the stage with stars like Zach Top and Billy Currington, and captivated fans with singles “When You Get Home” and “Catchin’ On.” Recognized as Savannah’s Best Country Artist in both 2023 and 2024, Cole recently joined the Big Machine Records roster.
The concert happens at the Effingham County Fairgrounds in Altamont, IL, on August 7. Gates open at 6 PM, and the music starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets for all grandstand events are on sale now—visit www.effinghamcountyfair.com for more details and show information.
