Mildred Berniece Rincker, 104, of Strasburg, IL, passed away at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, with Rev. Kene Whybrew officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Mildred was born on August 13, 1921, in Strasburg, IL, the daughter of Martin and Bessie (Spannagel) Buesking. She married Ivan Rincker on February 16, 1941, and they were blessed with seven children, Sharan, Frank, Deanna, Linda, Wanda, Julie and Debbie. Mildred was a loving mother and devoted her life to her family. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Strasburg.
Mildred is survived by her children, Sharan Carmichael of St. Joseph, IL, Frank Rincker (Belva) of Shelbyville, IL, Deanna Uphoff (Tony) of Findlay, IL, Linda Orr of Strasburg, IL, Wanda Kessler (Roger) of Mode, IL, Julie Bishop (John) of Mt. Pulaski, IL, and Debbie Glasscock (Geo) of Gays, IL; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Rincker; sons-in-law, Chuck Carmichael and Will Orr; seven siblings, Merle Buesking (Celia), Vera Doehring (Hank), Delores Jackson (Harry), Harold Buesking (Helen), Lorene Mayhew (Wayne), Floyd Buesking (Vera), and Ralph Buesking (Annette); brothers-in-law, Dale Rincker (Gail), Merl Rincker (Marilouise), and Loyd Rincker (Mary); and sister-in-law, Norma Rose Crutcher Huddleston (Wayne).
